fnnch
fnnch long wanted to produce something never seen at Burning Man - a piece that incorporates solar into the artwork itself. He was inspired to build a self-contained piece that has power generation, storage, and consumption all within its bounds. An artwork that can be placed in any field and run autonomously for months or years. While incorporating solar into a sculpture is not novel, it is under-explored, and he had not seen it at Burning Man before. The "bridge" part of Solar Bridge is a metaphor and is not a literal bridge. It is intended to be a bridge to a future in which energy generation and consumption live increasingly in harmony.
