Sands of Time, 2024 stereolithographic print, glass, steel, and silicone This intricate sculpture invites you into a realm where time is not just measured, but experienced. At its heart, a globe encases a network of seven intersecting hourglasses, representing the multiplicities of time that exist beyond linear understanding. Inspired by rhizomatic theories, Sands of Time explores the concept of 'Kairos' —those rare, opportune moments that transcend the ticking clock, offering a space for deep reflection and transformation. This piece challenges us to reconsider how we perceive and inhabit time, transforming fleeting seconds into opportunities for collective contemplation.
